Just came across @mavryknetwork and it caught my eye for a specific reason.
They're building a purpose-built L1 for RWA tokenization, but what's interesting is their approach.
While everyone's talking about tokenizing random assets, Mavryk will tokenize actual premium real estate like Ritz-Carlton Residences.
And they secured a $3B deal with MultiBank Group and MAG to make this reality, which is pretty insane.
Real institutional backing + real assets + real utility.
As you know, I've been deep into @avantisfi because they offer perpetual markets on commodities like oil, gold, and forex pairs. Actual assets people use, not just crypto derivatives.
Same reason I'm interested in @Parcl_io and their real estate price feeds. They're making property markets tradeable without the friction of actual ownership.
What ties these together is the shift from pure defi speculation to bringing actual economic activity on-chain.
For example Mavryk's MRC-30 token standard specifically handles compliance requirements like KYC/AML that RWAs need.
And their rollups promise 50k TPS, which matters when you're dealing with institutional volume.
The founder Alex Davis @mv1_Davis came from Tezos where he built the first DeFi app focused on using STOs as collateral.
He understands that RWAs aren't just about slapping assets on-chain but building the entire stack: compliance, liquidity, custody, etc etc.
TGE coming soon according to their roadmap. Definitely worth watching how they execute on that $3B pipeline!
