2023 Crypto Market Annual Awards Announced: 123 Projects and 10 Individuals Recognized
2023 Crypto Market Review and Outlook
In 2023, the crypto market showed signs of recovery, with significant improvements in asset values and market sentiment. Throughout the year, multiple innovative narratives unfolded, including the Bitcoin inscription craze, tokenization of physical assets, DePIN innovations, and Bitcoin spot ETFs, injecting new vitality into the industry.
Against this backdrop, a selection event aimed at honoring outstanding projects, teams, and individuals in the Web3 field over the past year recently concluded. After a rigorous screening process, a total of 123 projects/enterprises and 10 individuals stood out, winning 21 authoritative annual awards.
Outstanding Contribution to Infrastructure
With the continuous improvement of infrastructure and the ongoing evolution of multiple technical paths, the crypto ecosystem is generating tremendous economic and social benefits. Based on several dimensions such as the number of on-chain addresses, the number of smart contract deployments, the number of active developers, trading volume, and technological upgrades, three annual outstanding contribution awards were ultimately selected: Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana.
Annual Innovative Applications
Web3 has restructured production relationships and value capture logic, providing fertile ground for new business models. The annual application selection covers eight categories: innovative applications, DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, RWA, DePIN, AI+Web3 integration, and NFTs, with a total of 55 projects selected.
Among them, the annual innovative applications include Worldcoin, Blast, SINOHOPE, De.Fi, and a certain Web3 platform. The annual best DeFi projects include EigenLayer, a certain DEX, JustLend, Helix, and 10 other projects. In the SocialFi field, Farcaster, TaskOn, Phaver, Galxe, and UXLINK stand out. In the RWA aspect, Ondo Finance, Maker, KlimaDAO, Centrifuge, and Tangible have been recognized. The leaders in the DePIN field include Render, Script Network, Fetch AI, BitTensor, and Filecoin.
In the integration of AI and Web3, Web3Go, Impakt, ChainGPT, Fetch AI, and rct AI have demonstrated good fusion applications. The leaders in the NFT field include Weirdo Ghost Gang, Bitcoin Frogs, Mocaverse, and other 10 projects.
Public Chain Ecosystem Development
Public chains have always been at the core of the encryption world, bringing in funding and user traffic to the entire ecosystem. This selection is based on multiple criteria, identifying the 5 most vibrant public chains of the year: Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, Sui, and Conflux. Additionally, the most promising projects within the ecosystems of these major public chains have also been selected.
