Recently, I started preparing a unique resume - my "on-chain first resume". This does not mean that I am unemployed; on the contrary, it is an important step for me to seek advancement in the Web3 field.
In the Web3 era, a resume is no longer a traditional PDF file, but a personal profile comprised of on-chain data. The ERA project is dedicated to this innovative concept, aggregating various behaviors of individuals on the blockchain (such as speaking, liking, voting, interacting, etc.) into an immutable personal credit profile. This approach is similar to LinkedIn, but with greater authenticity and data-driven characteristics.
Why is an on-chain resume so important? Because in the Web3 world, whether it is for obtaining high-value airdrops, whitelist qualifications, internal testing opportunities, or applying for Web3-related positions (such as governance ambassador, content advisor, node contributor, etc.), a credible credential that can prove "who you are" and "what you have done" is needed.
The ERA system gives on-chain behavior a deeper meaning. For example, publishing an article is no longer just about getting likes, but is recorded as an influence metric; the act of liking may tag you as an "active voter"; participating in proposal votes will create a complete voting history; even joining a group chat may be recognized and matched to corresponding opportunities based on participation.
ERA automatically identifies users' interactions on various blockchains (including L1 and L2) by binding users' wallets and social accounts. At the same time, it also employs privacy technologies such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK) to protect users' sensitive information.
This on-chain resume is not just a record of past behavior, but a gateway to future opportunities. It redefines the way individuals present their value in the Web3 ecosystem, providing new possibilities for career development. In this rapidly evolving digital world, on-chain resumes may become a crucial bridge connecting personal abilities with industry opportunities.
