Aptos on-chain transaction protocol Decibel debuts on Devnet aiming for one million orders per second.

[Chain News] On August 5, it was reported that the on-chain trading protocol Decibel supported by Aptos has gone live on Aptos Devnet, opening for invitation-only testing. The platform integrates Spot, Perptual Futures, and yield strategies, supporting cross-Margin accounts and composable vaults, aiming to achieve 1 million orders per second and a block time of less than 20 milliseconds, providing CEX-level speed while maintaining DeFi transparency. Aptos Labs participates in development and continues to support upgrades, while Decibel Foundation is responsible for governance, positioning the platform as the on-chain financial execution layer of Aptos.
