Canadian fighter jets intercepted a plane that intruded into the area where the G7 summit was being held.

A special team established by the Canadian police for event safety reported the situation. According to reports, a private plane entered the restricted airspace over Alberta. Canadian NORAD forces dispatched CF-18 "Hornet" fighter jets for interception. Security officials stated that no further details would be provided as the investigation into the incident is still ongoing. The G7 summit will be held in Kananaskis, Canada from June 16 to 17, originally scheduled to open on June 15.
