The real challenge for the BNB chain is not to surpass SOL, but how to transform traffic advantages into technological accumulation.

## Introduction
The <a href="/price" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">crypto market</a> in April always has dramatic turns. Just as BTC fell at the beginning of the month and has now rebounded, the number of monthly transactions in the Solana eco decreased by 20% to 1.5 billion, while the number of transactions on the BNB chain increased by 17% to 140 million. This trend of one rising and the other falling makes observers wonder: Is the BNB chain, which was once criticized for its rampant clamps, completing the transformation from traffic harvesting to eco sedimentation?
 
## Eco Data Soars, Making BNB Chain Great Again
In April, when the on-chain data was dull, BNB Chain ushered in a small climax of eco prosperity. According to DeFiLlama data, the total value locked (TVL) of BNB Chain has climbed to $7 billion, approaching the high point in April 2024. Meanwhile, the TVL of opBNB reached $25.21 million, showing its potential as a high-performance side chain. Although there is still a gap compared with Ethereum and SOL Chain, the growth rate of BNB Chain is undoubtedly remarkable.

Stablecoin active addresses are an important indicator for judging the activity of the eco. According to CryptoRank data last week, the total number of active USDT addresses in the entire chain reached 31.1 million in the past 30 days. BNB Chain ranked first with nearly 12 million active USDT addresses, followed by <a href="/price/tron-trx" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">TRON</a> (11.2 million) and <a href="/price/polygon-matic" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Polygon</a> (2.6 million).

The number of active addresses is another key indicator for measuring the eco's activity. As shown in the figure below, according to the statistics of various chains by Nansen, the number of monthly active addresses of BNB Chain reached 16 million, surpassing Tron and Base and ranking second. However, although the number of active addresses of the BNB chain is only 15% of that of the SOL chain, the transaction fees account for 65% of the latter, showing the strong capital scale and hype of the chain.

The recovery of the BNB Chain is not accidental, but the joint result of technological innovation, community drive, and market strategy. It is particularly worth mentioning that BNB Chain launched the "Meme Coin Liquidity Support Plan" based on the market trend of "embracing new traffic." According to the official announcement of BNB Chain, the plan attracted a large number of new users and developers by providing initial liquidity support for the meme coin project.

## FHE (Mind Network): Pioneer in Homomorphic Encryption

From BSC's "transaction as a service" to opBNB's "computing as a service", from Mind Network's privacy computing to Four.meme's community drive, this eco is proving that the competition of public chains will eventually return to the essential proposition of "lowering the threshold of innovation". After all, in the current era of meme and technology, the resilience of the eco is always worth looking forward to rather than the temporary popularity.
